  • Not had radiotherapy to brain, but it's scary even having a brain scan so I empathise with you, keep posting hopefully someone will have had similar experience, good luck and keep asking questions.

  • Hello sweetdreamsmum,

Welcome to our forum. I hope you will meet some of our lovely members here who have also had brain radiotherapy and that they will be along soon to share their experience with you and give you an indication as to what to expect.

We do have some useful information on our website on brain radiotherapy. It will tell you what to expect from your appointment and includes a video on how you have your treatment. You can read more about this here.

Our nurses are really friendly and they will also be able to talk you through everything so don't hesitate to give them a call on this free number 0808 800 4040, Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm.

We hope it all goes well for you.

    Best wishes,
