Hi I'm new to this!!! I was diagnosed with a GIST tumour on Monday and was also told that it has already taken up residence in my liver. I have an appoinment with the oncologist on Monday to discuss treatments etc.

I have been quite calm since being diagnosed but it has had an enormous effect on my husband and 3 children. I think the uncertainty and wooly information has made things worse. 

Hopefully, I will have a clearer idea come Monday.
