Hi! I'm Sarah and my dad was diagnosed with cancer in June 2016. The tumour was at the junction with his oesophagus and stomach. Following scans and a laparascopy it was found that the cancer was localised but dad's stomach was messy, do the consultant decided to carry out a total gastrectomy. Upon operating the surgeon found the cancer took up 80% of dad's stomach and had spread to some of the nodes outside. He removed it all so currently dad is cancer free
