Hello to all on the forum.I am sure that having cancer in common,that we may be able to help each other i.e. with tips on how to help each other with side effects of the particular chemo we are using. I am on capecitabine for secondary breast cancer in my liver.

    I am so sorry that you have found yourself on this forum but have no doubt that other members will come along shortly to offer their support. I was diagnosed with breast cancer in November 2015 and I finished chemo/radio in July/August 2016.

  • Thank you Dunati for your kind words.I have had cancer for 25 yrs and have been on palliative care for 6 yrs.I am very lucky with my local hospital,Northampton General,who have kept me alive all this time!

    l am presently on capecitabine. I get help with hand foot syndrome by taking vit B6 pyridoxine 3 times daily and help with the diarrhoea and constipation in tablet form.If anyone needs to discuss their experience of this chemo,I would be pleased to share my experience with them.
