I found your forum looking for information on problems I am having after a recent mastectomy. I've had to go in twice to have fluid removed after my drainage tubes were removed. I'm a little more than 3 weeks post-op.
I am sorry to hear that you are having issues following your mastectomy. I hope that despite it being Christmas you have managed to get seen by someone and that you got some useful advice as to what might be causing these drainage issues.
If you live in the UK, perhaps you could also give our nurses a call and explain to them your situation in detail? They may be able to advise you further on this and point you in the right direction. They are available Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm on 0808 800 4040. With it being Christmas, their line is closed today and in the next few days but it reopens at 9am on Wednesday the 28th of December.
