Welcome! I'm in a similar position to you seeing the Oncologist Monday after positive biopsies and an MRI. Part of me wants to progress but it is also quite ok to be living as normal only the reality of my diagnosis keeps popping up uninvited.
I hope you have supportive family and friends to help you through and there are always things like this chat to connect with others I have also joined a couple of Face Book groups but their descriptions of their experiences with treatment I'm skipping over. In fact until I get the full info from the Oncologist I'm staying away from reading about it on the internet too scary.
In the meantime I'm enjoying the care and positivity of those around me and have started doing a little meditation using a phone app which came in really handy in coping with the MRI and I think will be really useful when I start chemo.
