Melanoma struggling to cope

Hi everyone,

I never thought I would end up on one of these forums and all I can say is thank god there are...

My dad got diagnosed with Melanoma a year and a half ago and it has had a massive effect on my family, I was dealing with it okbefore, but a week ago I got told his treatment is not working and I feel so lost and its crushing me.

So there is my opening speech to the forum..

  • Welcome to Cancer Chat high-hopes although I'm sorry about your dad's diagnosis and that you were recently told that the treatment is not working but I just wanted to let you know that you are not alone.

    Many members here will really understand what you are going through right now having been in the same situation with their parents and loved ones and I'm sure they will post soon to offer their support and advice. 

    In the meantime try to take it a day at a time and chat here as much as you need to. Someone will always be here to listen and help.
