Hi everyone

I was diagnosed with Breast cancer 2 years ago and had a bilateral mastectomy, after being

diagnosed I finally was accepted for genetic testing, as I had a strong family link of breast cancer.

Anyway after a lot of testing they found I have CHEK2, a cancer suppressant gene mutation. It is not

as well know as the BRCA1 or BRCA2 genes, so I have found it reallt difficult to find anyone in the UK

with the same mutation.

I would love to hear from anyone if they are familiar with this.
