Hi there Kitkat, welcome to the forum, but sorry for why you find yourself here. I think we all have our own special reasons for wanting to live as long as possible and certainly, yours are pretty special with your two young sons. I'm sorry you need to deal with this terrible disease at such a crucial time in your life. I have incurable cancer as well, but I am much older than you and in the larger scheme of things, most people would consider themselves lucky to have lived this long period, but dying with cancer was not on my list of things to do. I have grandkids and one great granddaughter that I love dearly and I would still like to be around a little longer for them, but its' not in the cards. I think we all learn to appreciate the more important things in life once we're faced with incurable cancer, as you said. I sincerely hope that your treatment in Japan does slow down your cancer and that you do get to spend many more years with your young boys.

I’ve just come across my old message/your reply, so thought I’d update you.

I’ve continued with alternative therapies and TACE in Germany, and would say I’m about the same stage as I was back in January 2016. In the midst of all of what I’ve been through, I’m patting myself on the back!
