My mother has multiple myeloma it is such a horrible thing to deal with - she is in and out of hospital with confusion, heart problems, always catching infections -  she lost three stone in three months and has become a shell of the person she was - so hard to see your mother deteriorate like this - I am new to this site and although there is nothing I can do medically I try to see her as often as possible but I have a full time job and work  and live 150 miles away from my mum - - I have lots of varying emotions ranging from guilt for not being nearer to sadness to despair... my mum is my best friend....
