Just read both your posts. My diagnosis was equally vague. Was told by my GP on Maunday Thursday that they had found cancer but couldn't tell me anymore. Had to wait all over Easter until the following Friday to see a specialist. All sorts of stuff going through my head and it was a lonely experience.

My advice would be to be as realistic as possible by that i mean i tried to prepare myself for all evetualities..ranging from it s a mistake to sorry but you're done!

Luckily for me it was operable and now after chemo and surgery i;ve had the all clear. I know this can be a dark time...i had a lot of tears....but....try not to dwell on worse case scenarios (easier said than done i know).
