Just saying hello

I think I have been told that I have breast cancer?

I went this week, had mamograms, scans and they found two lumps one large and a smaller hidden one.

I have to wait until they meet on Monday to be told next week the full details.

I never dreamt I would get cancer.I am 69 I am stuned bruised and shocked.

    Hello Bruised,

    I do understand your feeling of shock. Just after I retired, my wife made me go to my GP and when it was found I had prostate cancer, I too was shocked. I have seen more doctors and specialists in the past few years than I have ever done in my life.

    I just want to wish you luck when you get your results and do hope its not cancer. Please let us knoe how you get on, Brian.

    I am sorry you have had to put up with so much over the years,I hope you feel that you are in charge now and coping well.

    He did say the large lump is cancer, the smaller one, looks benign but is close to the large one. so it looks like I do have it.I will let you know more when I get the full details etc. thanks for your support.
