Hi Michelle_D, welcome to the forum but sorry for why you're here. Gee whiz, you have lost 6 siblings to cancer? and then you were diagnosed with it yourself? I don't blame you for wanting a complete hysterectomy. I don't know of anyone who has had robotic surgery, but I have watched some of those surgeries on TV. I guess they work pretty good from what I can gather on it. I think they've had a pretty good outcome on them too. I'll be interested in hearing how you get along with it. My response to your post will move you to the beginning of the forum and hopefully, other people will see it and hopefully respond, especially if they know something about this surgery. The other thing you could do is post a question to the category "Ask the Nurses". They may be able to tell you more.
