  • Hello Eileen,

Welcome to Cancer Chat and thank you for sharing your story. I am so sorry for your recent loss - our sincere condolences from the Cancer Chat team. It is normal to be in a state of shock after what happened to your husband and having experienced the trauma of having had to watch him deteriorate when the cancer came back aggressively.

Many on our forum will understand this feeling of powerlessness you describe as you look after a loved one who is terminally ill. I hope you will hear from others here who have also lost a loved one recently. It helps a little sometimes to talk to others who understand exactly what you are going through right now.

    Best wishes,

    Lucie, Cancer Chat Moderator
