Hi Louise. Just joined as well and so sorry to hear about your loss.  We are going through the latter stages of cancer with my Dad. I, like you, want to learn as much as I can about this terrible disease and how it devastates not only the patient but also the family. I have been very lucky to live near to Clatterbridge Hospital in Wirral, Cheshire, which has helped me to begin understanding more. It is a centre of excellence and my Dad was only given one year to live in March 2015 and with new trial drugs this has extended much more than we could have hoped. I want to learn more about what we can all do and how we can support people in the same position.
