stuff happens

Hi I am Clive;

                    I was told i had bowel cancer in november 2015, had surgery to remove shortly after having a pet scan.Started chemo in janurary2016.It was hard but keept a positive attitude which i think really helps.The day i finished my last lot of tablets,this was three weeks after my drip session I flew to potugal for a weekend rally, bikes and music.I can feel rough any where,the people i travelled with made it better.

Six days ago i had a procedure carried out to remove part of my lung,stiches out tomorrow. The thing is I am here and ok,there are people who are drowning in the med,and being killed in syria life is not always easy, but it can can be very good.We are luckier than some.Stay positive and good luck to everyone.

  • Hello Clive,

    We love your cheerful spirit and attitude! I can just imagine you the day after your finished your last lot of tablets having a great time in sunny Portugal with bikes and music! I am glad the people you travelled with made you feel better.

    I expect your stitches will have come out now and I hope you are recovering well and are not in pain. We're glad you've joined our forum and shared your story and fun spirit!

    I am sure you will enjoy talking to others here who have been through a similar experience. Some may even have recently travelled to Portugal like you ;)

    Best wishes,
