My husband past away 6 weeks ago and we had to tell my 6 year old grandson ,my grandsons family dog died last year year so we said pops had gone to heaven so he could take all the dogs for a walk and give them cuddles but he would still be the brightest star in the sky and my grandson could say goodnight every night he seems to accept this 6 year olds seem to accept things much better as I noticed with my older grandchildren I hope your little one accepts the loss of her nan God bless Maria
