I have recently had a mastectomy/reconstruction after my first mammogram showed calsification. Testing showed there was a mix of high, mid and low grade DCIS and feel so lucky it was all caught early. The next step will be deciding if I want corrective surgery on the other breast so they match! I have Betsi my prosthesis at the moment balancing me up as my reconstruction is quite a bit smaller than my natural breast.
