Newly Diagnosed

Hi Everyone,

My name is Mia, I am 32, living in Yorkshire.

I am not really sure where to start. All this is very new to me. I was diagnosed with breast cancer last Tuesday I have grade 2 invasive ductal carcinoma. Since last week it has been a bit of a whirlwind of appointments, tests and scans. I think I have come to terms with this and now just want to work through it.

I am starting Chemotherapy next week and would welcome any support or advice on things such as diet and trying to keep well while going through the treatments. I would love to hear from anyone going through the same thing and maybe help and support each other?

  • Hi Mia

welcome to the forum albeit under such circumstances.  I don't have the same cancer but wanted to drop by to say hello and wish you well as your journey continues.  This forum is a great source of information and support by both moderators, nurses and members.  I am pretty sure that before long someone who can relate to your type of cancer will be along to share experiences and have a chit chat :)
