just thought I'd pop on to see if I could put you at ease a bit. On the first of April I had an ultrasound to confirm gallstones (which it did, bummer)!!!! Lol. 

It also confirmed numerous lumps on my liver, 4 or 5 I seem to recall, of varying sizes. The consultant assured me that they were Haemangeomas (harmless tangles of blood vessels) which are generally found incedentally. Of course it didn't stop me fretting about what I thought it was as I'm sure you understand. I had a ct scan the same day on the area which made them pretty sure but not 100% they were Haemangeomas so to be sure I was routinely referred for an mri, I had that on the 25th may, I do have to have another at the end of this month though as they inject  you with dye to help show up the area they're scanning and one of my  haemangeomas filled with dye to slowly (apparently because it's bigger so naturally it was slower to fill up,  the dye helps show things up better I believe) so they alter the mix and do it again. 

So basically if you can understand my ramblings I just wanted to pass on that although I totally understand your fears it doesn't have to mean anything bad xx

I just came back from my routine US scan and was told there were dark patches. Unfortunately I have liver cirrhosis and had hepatitis when I was younger so worried about what it means. 
 

It took months to get this appointment, now I need to wait to to see what heptologist says. I know your pain.
