I'm Gill and my dad has termianl cancer. it started in the kidney and now is in lungs , liver and finally brain. I'm struggling seeing him get worse daily and with all the emotions it brings.
Welcome to the forum Gill although I'm sorry to hear about your dad's diagnosis.
It can be so, so, tough to watch a loved one, especially a parent, suffer knowing there isn't much you can do to help them recover so it's completely understandable, and natural, that your emotions are all over the place. So many of our members who have been in the same situation with their loved ones will know exactly what you're going through right now and I'm sure they will post soon to offer their support and advice.
I know it will be hard but if you can try and enjoy the time you have left with your dad and take comfort in your family and friends so you can support and help each other through this difficult time.
Hi Gill, I'm very very sorry to hear about your father. It's some of the hardest news you will ever have to hear. I've recently been told that my father has a brain tumour and that we should be expecting months rather than years. I know it sounds stupid but I'm glad that someone else has all these crazy emotions running through them as well. I hope that today is a good day for you. Again, I'm very sorry to hear your dad is so unwell.
