Anal Cancer

I  have just been to the Churchill in Oxford to have my MRI's & CT scans then next week I have to have a sigmoidoscopy - since I was diagnosed with anal cancer a year ago - I did not have any problems at all - just did the old 'poo'on a stick & was told I had a malignant tumour - I live on my own since my partner of 30yrs died of kidney failure so you just have to get on with it !!??

Luckily I had a second opinion & had the tumour removed (my first surgeon said 'bowel removed' & have colostomy bag!!) so I am fighting fit - feel great - so please keep positive & enjoy life !!!!
