Well theres a shock.

Hope everyone likes my avatar. its a llama I met a few weeks ago in a local field......soooo pretty.

Yesterday I went for a Colonoscopy because I am anemic , shock , horror I was told very gravely by the Doctor and Oncology nurse that I have a tumour in my Caecum...

I was to say the least Gob smacked . ...O K had the news, off for C T scan tomorrow then will be told what my programme of treatment will be.

Walked around our local park this morning with my wee Jack Russell friend and watched a family of swans two grown ups and four babies . I cried.

I think that most people cry when they first find out there is a problem. It is the news that you never expect to hear. The waiting for results is hard but at least once you have them they will give you your treatment plan.
It is normal to go through all kinds of feelings, that is what makes us human :)

When my partner first told me he had cancer I just nodded and thought "right, how do we deal with this?" then as the news sunk in I cried. A week on and I think I have cried at least once every day. But I try to stay positive and try to take care of myself so that I can do my best for him and still find things to laugh about together.
