Malignant Melanoma

Hi All,

So I've just been told I have Malignant Melanoma, I have an app on the 10th May to find out more details, all my GP has told me is that I will need more surgery and treatment. Im not sure how I should be feeling, one minute I'm ok, next minute I'm a crying mess. Would like to chat with people who also have been through this, or any experiences people have had with Malignant Melanoma, so I don't feel so alone.

    Hello Cassie,

    Good luck with your appointment on the 10th. It is normal to be going through a rollercoster of emotions at the moment and hopefully you will feel a little better once you have talked to someone and found out all the details. This period of uncertainty can be really difficult. 

    I hope you will meet others here who been through this before and have also been diagnosed with malignant melanoma, gone through treatment so that you don't feel so alone with this. There is for example this thread by Clarence which was posted a few months ago - feel free to post a response if you wish.

    I hope others who have had experience of melanoma will be along soon and share their story with you.
