I do understand how your feeling as I was diagnosed with prostate cancer some years ago. My psa was 70 and my gleeson as 3+3=6. Luckily the cancer was still contained and after two years on hormone therapy and 37 radiotherapy treatments, I have made a good recovery. There ia another guy who has just joined whos gleeson was 9 and hes just posted his cancer is still contained. His name is DaveT and the thread is entitled Living with advanced prostate cancer. Had my bone scan results today and all clear, now waiting for the start of radiotherapy,feeling a lot more positive now I know its not spread to bones.

So pleased to hear you got an all clear. Just a tip for when you start the radiotherapy. Towards the end of the treatment it can make you feel very tired. The staff told me if I felt tired to go and have a lie down for a while. I did what they told me and It worked well.
