Hello Everyone. Found this place on FB and very relieved. My father in law was diagnosed with agressive prostate cancer back in November. He'd been having issues with pee-ing for years before the diagnosis and it was noted how much weight he'd lost in a short period of time. Relationships with the inlaws are awful but there has always been masses of love for my father in law.My husband is obviously worried about his dad and Iv'e told him he ought to see his dad but because things between us and his mum and siblings are terrible; plus I think he's in denial, he won't go. I don't feel it's my place to push. A friend has recently been diagnosed with a brain tumour and another with lung and spine cancer so I feel an amount of urgency in regards to keeping the lines of communication open, supporting and generally being there for dad in law. I also feel it may be relevent for hubby and my 3 lads to go for screening - or am I being neurotic? Anyway- sorry to witter- very glad to have found you all...xx
