Hi there, welcome to the forum. I have bladder cancer now for 3 years and have had several surgeries to remove the cancers. I'm not sure if my surgeries were the same as what you're going to have, but I really think your treatment team would be the best ones to answer your questions on this upcoming surgery. I have also had several treatments of BCG off and on over that time. There are many different issues around bladder cancer that I don't fully understand; I only know about my particular situation. I also have other cancers going on that are not related to the bladder cancer, so it seems with me, they are "putting out fires" all over me most of the time. The main goal for my treatment team is to keep me alive as long as possible.
