hi my name is Fee and I'm new here. Had a lumpectomy end of November followed by radiotherapy. Finished treatment nearly 5 weeks ago and still feeling sore. Is this normal?
Hi Fee and welcome. Sorry to say it but, yes, it is normal to still be sore. Radiotherapy can affect some people more strongly than others but you do go on "cooking" for quite a while after the treatment has ended. Probably not the answer you were hoping for I realise but it will calm down eventually. Keep sloshing on the cream and be gentle with yourself in the meantime. Take care Sue xx
