Hello all. My partner was diagnosed with bowel cancer 2 years ago. He's on the second course of chemo and has had 2 operations so far. He also has a drink problem and self medicates with a bottle of vodka every day. Life is very hard. I have trouble being sympathetic about his illness when a lot of the problems he has are caused by the vodka rather than the chemo.
