Hello!
I am 64 years old lady and had my annual mammogram a week ago. Unfortunately it showed a small area of calcification for which they are doing a biopsy. Prior to this I was diagnosed with breast cancer five years ago (same breast) and had a lumpectomy, chemotherapy and radiotherapy and had annual mammograms since with the all clear. I have been told that at my age the calcifications are likely to be age related and therefore can only hope for this diagnosis :) If anyone can offer the options if the calcifications are the beginning of pre-cancerous cells.
Thank you
Mel
