Hi Jeanie, welcome to the forum, but sorry for why you're here. Sounds like you've had a rough few years and much of that time has been spent with recuperation of surgery, followed by treatments. Is the tonsil cancer related to the breast cancer, or is it a new cancer? Most people on here either have cancer of some type themselves, or they are caring for a loved one with it. I have been battling cancer now for 6 years, starting with colon cancer in Jan of 2010, followed by colorectal lung cancer two years later and then bladder cancer a year later and then another lung cancer after that. I also had a tumor in my ureter tube which was replaced with a partial artifical tube. I now have another cancer in my lung which will be treated soon. In between all that, I have had several surgeries, chemo and radiation treatments. I sometimes wonder what I would be doing with all my free time if I wasn't spending so much time in hospitals, doctors' offices, etc. I would love to find out though.
I think you will find people on this forum very understanding and supportive so I hope you will continue to post. It can be a very lonely road when one travels it alone, so don't do that. I hope you have family/friends to support you there, but it always helps to communicate with other people with cancer because we all know what its' like to be walking this road with cancer.
Keep posting and let us know how you are managing and take the support from others on the forum.
Take care.
Lorraine
