Hi, I was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer in November 2015

Age 41 I had a lumpectomy and lymph nodes removed, I am half way through my chemotherapy and will be having my 4th treatment next week. My oncologist said the next lot of 3 treatments may cause joint pain mainly from the waste down has anyone experienced this please if so any tips you can suggest would be very much appreciated.

Hi Sam. I have just finished FEC T chemotherapy three weeks ago. I had joint pain about two days after having the treatment. It was mainly in my knees and back. I took a mixture of ibroprofen and paracetamol which helped. The pains subsided after a couple of days. I hope this helps. Best wishes for your treatment. Audrey x

Hi Audrey, thank you for your reply that's good to know I will make sure I'm stocked up with ibroprofen and paracetamol how were you with the first 3 lots of chemo ? X

Hi Sam. When I had the first three I had terrible nausea for about ten days, no appetite, went off loads of things, tea, coffee and even wine. The positive thing with last three is no nausea. I have my first measuring appointment this Friday for radiotherapy x
