keep your spirits up guys!!!!!

I just want to let everyone out there know who Is dealing with cancer to never give up hope. I got told a year ago that I i have secondary breast cancer which has spread to my bones and liver. I found out when I was 29 weeks pregnant and had to have a c-section at 31 weeks followed by spinal surgery to stabilise my spine. I was told I'm lucky if I make it past 2 years but so far I'm proving them wrong i thought i was going to be on chemo for the rest of my time as my cancer is so advanced but by keeping my mind focused on postive things in life aswell as keeping up a healthy lifestyle my tumors have been shrinking greatly. I believe that my outlook on cancer and diet changes is why my tumors are shrinking im now on taxofine and got told there is a high change they wouldnt work for me as my estrogens levels are back to front but funilly enough when i got last scanned it was further shrinking my tumors all im saying is never remain negative as much as it's hard to do in this situation but believe it or not cancer feeds on negative energy if you let your body become run down the cancer will attack more so keep your spirts up guys and treasure everyday. In life we never know when our time is up so we have to make each day count set yourself goals and achieve them, keep your mind busy and don't let cancer be a dwelling in your thoughts. I was blessed in having two amazing children and cancer is not going to take over my life when I have lots of family memories to create.

Hello Kirsty,,               Good luck to you, I wish that it keeps striking for you and you can have many many memories with your children and family/ friends . I try to stay as positive as I can I have 4 teenagers and I want to still do loads of stuff with them, it's mainly the pain /fatigue for me that slows me down, so hopefully after nmy operation I will be as positive as you!,

Keep fighting and staying strong all the best from Mel

I know our cancers are different but my sister had breast cancer ( now in remission) also I had other sister with non- Hopkins disease but sadly she lost her fight but she is always in our hearts.
