Hi, I had my thyroid removed 9years ago and have had many problems since. Not many people understand the problems this cancer comes with. I wish there was more investigation into the way this cancer affects the whole body.
I have just had a total thyroidectomy for papillary thyroid cancer, and oh my goodness, I never realised I would feel like this! You can read as much as you like but nothing prepares you for the absolute drained feeling, not to mention everything else. How did you manage in the first few weeks?
