Recent TC diagnosis

Hello everyone,

I was diagnosed with TC stage I seminoma late November and had immediate surgery. After a couple of weeks had a 2nd  follow up scan and was (kind of reluctantly) offered adjuvant chemo. Decided last week to go ahead with the carboplatin treatment and have my intake appointment coming week. Was wondering who has experience with the carboplatin treatment and it's (immediate) efffects.

    Welcome to Cancer Chat. We have some information on carboplatin here which I hope will answer some of the questions you may have and which details the most common side effects. Interestingly, someone asked a very similar question to our nurses back in April last year so I would suggest you have a look at this thread and feel free to post a reply and chat to any others who have been in a similar situation.
