Hello I've just joined this so please excuse me till I learn how to use it lol. I'm Kim I'm 36 and from Scotland, I have 6 very cheeky children that I love with all my heart! My eldest who will be 15 in April had non Hodgkin's lymphoma when she was 7 thankfully she is now in full remission! Unfortunately my father in law passed away 3 years ago he had lung cancer, it was one of the hardest things I've had to watch!

    Hi Kim and welcome to the site.  I am sorry to see that cancer has affected your family and am so glad that your daughter has reached remission - that must be a huge relief for you, although I know the worry of recurrence is always just a thought away. 

    You have my greatest admiration in having six children! My goodness, you deserve a medal!!! Keep in touch and come to talk whenever you need.  Take good care of yourself and your lovely family x

    Lovely to have someone join the forum with good news - your daughter not your father that is!

    I think there will be lots of people on the forums who would love to hear your experiences and particularly stories of hope and remission

    Do dive in and talk to them
