hi I've just been diagnosed with lung cancer this last week. And I'm in a Lot of pain x I'm taking all my meds but the. Pain is so bad I just can't get comfy I'm scared of taking to much. Has anyone got any tips to help me. Xxx
Hi, Caz, so sorry for your diagnosis. You really must get in touch with your GP or oncologist snd explain that your medication isn't working. Please do this as soon as you can, I am sure you will get some help. The Pain Clinic at my local hospice has just faxed over to my pharmacy some stronger medication for me. Help is there.
Thankyou for your reply Pauline x I've not been on these medication for long ? Would they up them change them?? I must sound daft. X I used to think I had quite a high pain tolerance, not at the moment I'm just so tired xx I will get on to them today. X
Caz, I have found that they do take pain seriously and it also looks like you need something to help you sleep (me too). The sooner you get your pain under control the better. Sometimes it takes a little while but the sooner you sort this out the quicker you will be able to cope.

I will definitely speak to someone today about what they can do for me. X I'm glad I couldn't sleep tonight, if I hadn't I wouldn't have joined and to be honest I think it's helped me get through tonight just reading and talking to others that are feeling and going through THE hardest thing anyone could imagine.
