Hi, I'm Liz, newly (yesterday) diagnosed with GMP. Going from a reasonably healthy 66 year old woman on New Years Eve to a stumbling idiot in 4 weeks. Yesterday I felt that knowledge was power and embraced that.......today, in the early hours of the morning, I'm not so brave. I guess it was a drastic way to retire! I'm a widow of 18 years who was fiercely independent, it's really hard having to ask for help. I'm very left handed but this disease took no mind of that when it took the use of my left limbs. I'm quite lethal with my stick, unable to control it at times! I look forward to becoming involved, if in a small way with the forum.  Thanks for reading.
