Whooa - hold back Mandy - get full on panic, if necessary, when you are informed of the facts.  My experience of Consulatants is that they have the Emotional Intelligence of 2 year olds and he/she was probably thinking when examining your groin that he/she wished that their partner was not serving liver and onions for tea - hence the expression!!  Humour over - easy to write - difficult experience to handle.  Try and keep calm and relaxed and strong and get the potential melanoma cut out and convince yourself that you can deal with any further challenges.  Does that make sense?  Sian
