I noticed you hadn't received a response yet and thought I would bump your post so that others who have experience of invasive ductal carcinoma can see it straight away and respond. Perhaps you could also edit your title so that it includes the words 'invasive ductal carcinoma'? This will enable people to see immediately just by looking at your title what your diagnosis was.

I am pleased to hear all went well despite the allergic reaction to the dressing.
