Stomach cancer

I was diagnosed with stage 4 stomach cancer in April 2015 and after chemo for six months have had my stomach removed . I am finding it hard to digest some foods I was just wondering if this would pass because when I do eat some foods it causes me a lot of pain and it's not nice for my family to watch . I know it's early days but just looking for some advise .
