im the newbie for this forum, im not the victim of cancer disease but my grandpa had oesphageous cancer, he is no more now. so i know the pain of cancer. just i wanted to gain more knowledge about cancer, so that i can spread the awareness among the fellow men... please i request all the members of this forum to clear my boubts. i expect so... thank you all

    Welcome to our forum. I am sorry to hear you lost your grandpa to cancer. It sounds like you have been asking yourself a lot of questions about cancer which is normal after suffering such a great loss.

    If you are looking for general information about cancer, our website is a good place to go. For example, if you want to know more about what cancer is, you can find out more here.  You can also type in for example, 'oesophageal cancer' in the website search or anything else you want to know more about.

    Our nurses' helpline is open Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. You can reach them on this free number 0808 800 4040 and you can ask them any question you may have about cancer. They will be back after the Christmas break on Tuesday 29th of December.
