Hi everyone

This time last year I had had a lunpectomy for breast cancer.  Then back to be told they hadnt got it all so a second op.  Two weeks later and I was back again and was told still not all the precancerous cells had gone so I told them to take the breast which they did in January.  This was followed by 6 lots of chemo.  I am lucky that they are confident that it has not spread.

I made sure everyone knew what was happening and received excellent support from everyone especially my work colleagues.

I now seem to have the role of the come to person about cancer at work.  Sadly there are too many who are suffering but I do my best to help.

I think this site is a great idea.  I also think we all need to understand that everyone is different, every cancet is different and we all react differently.  Chemo is not a walk in the park but in my case was not as bad as expected.  I believe keeping a positive attitude as much as possible whilst listening to your body all helps.

Look forward to hearing all the chat.
