New to this ... Worried ...

I was diagnosed with AML on Nov. 18. I was airlifted to MD Anderson in Houston and have had my first round of chemo. I then got out of the hospital and I am now back in the hospital with a infection. They had to remove my pic line and are working to clear the infection. Things are coming at me so fast and I have absolutely no control. It is bewildering. I have a great support system and I am fighting. I am also aware that only 40% of people with AML live past 5 years. It's sad to think about.
