  • Hi Shirley,

I am really pleased your treatment has worked well for you & you're now in remission, that's great news!!

I totally understand your good & bad days, mostly I manage to carry on as best I can, but sometimes it just hits me & I can't help but cry about the awful situation I find myself in.

I'm new to this forum too, but am already finding it a great help & I hope you do to.

Let's try to keep smiling today :-) Louise x

  • Hi Shirley and Loop,

    Welcome to both of you.

Shirley, I thank you for sharing you good news story with us on here and just want to wish well for the future.

Loop, I think most of the people on here will empathise when you say you have good days and bad days.

Sending both of you kind thoughts and best wishes, Brian.

  • Hi Shirley.  I am no expert on these things and probably shouldn't reply because don't know what to say as only just happened to us. But i wanted to say why me is normal. Getting upset is normal. My dad has been recently diagnosed and know these days are to come. I think why him. Bad things should not happen to good people.

Stay strong is awful thing to say and people who don't understand say this. It's ok to shout life's so unfair.  It's ok to be angry and hit back. Also important to pick yourself back up after these times and enjoy what life has to offer you and make the best with those you love.

I'm sorry my words are rubbish but my thoughts are with you.

    Lou
