Understandably, Your mum's diagnosis will have come as a huge shock to you and it will take time to process this news. It's often the case that once all the initial tests and results have been carried out and a treatment plan has been decided, we find we can cope a little better. It's usually 'the unknowns' that leave us reeling from the news we've received. 

Don't be afraid to share your feelings with your mum, no doubt she will be experiencing similar emotions to you too.

Thank you gor the reply.  More news....on brain and lung.  Told a yr to live......It breaks my heart.  Just want to know if her quality of life will be good for that year.  I want to mske as many memories as possible.
