Hi Tom, I agree, it's the waiting and over thinking thats the worst thing, he feels better now he's begun treatment. Today is the first day of the rest of his life as he will be on chemo until he dies. Sounds awful but its true. Hope everything goes well for u, keep me updated and good luck x

Hi Archie, sorry to hear that the cancer has spread to both lungs, life can be so cruel sometimes, I wish you well. John is doing ok so far no major side effects. One day at a time is all we can do for now. Have a good weekend x
Hello, I don't know If my words can help you. I went through a 'nice' cancer 7 years ago. They gave me drugs for the anxiety. But I also found it important to eat well during the Chemo. Which is something often neglected by the Doctors, Eat food that are rich in Iron ( red beet, fresh spinach + iron supplements) to help maintain a red blood cell count. Fish instead of meat as it is easier to digest. Garlic and Echinacea to aid your immune system, Fresh food because it contains more vitamins. As much exercise as he can bear to bring oxygen into the body.
Thanks Olive, hope ur keeping well x
