We are sorry to hear that your best friend has been diagnosed with ovarian cancer. I am sure other members of our forum will have some excellent suggestions on how you can help her following her diagnosis.
Do you think your friend would be interested in joining Cancer Chat? Our forum might give her some comfort in knowing that she isn't alone, that there are other ladies here who also have ovarian cancer. For example, you could let her know about this very recent thread and they can all talk to one another and share their experiences dealing with ovarian cancer.

I have ovairion cancer and am currently having Chemo, I am halfway through just had my 3rd cycle, I have many friends that keep me positive with their support and one who is always there for me, she comes every day and is always there to talk to, all I can say to you is be there for her when she needs you and always talk to her and be positive and strong for her and you will be all the help she needs. It is a time like this when you find out who your true friends are. Try and get her to join this site it really helps she can also find things out that she may be a little unsure of.
