Hi PJ, welcome to the forum. I'm no medical person, but given your family history I would strongly advise you to consult with your family doctor about possible genetic family cancers. That's not to say you will get cancer, but it sure would be a good idea to get screened. Cancers that are found early on in the disease have a better chance for successful treatment outcome. If you want more information, why don't you put your question in the section "Ask the Nurses" here on the forum. I'm sure they would have some good advice for you.
