Hi Darren,
I think you may have just started one :-)
I don't have a brain tumour (though I am at stage 4) but I know someone on here who does, or at last had one until recently.
Hopefully, someone appropriate will get back to you later this evening.
Cheers
Dave.
Hi Darren and welcome to the forum. Sorry that your post seemed to get lost down the pages over a busy weekend.
I have stage 4 breast cancer and got the biggest shock of all when I was told in January that I now had a brain tumour. It really knocked me for six! So I understand somewhat how you feel. However, I had targeted radiotherapy in February and have been amazed at the positive response I have had - further tests in November will let me know how things are going on that score but I feel very much better physically which I am hoping is a good sign. Has any treatment been suggested to you at this present time?
I and many others here on the forum will empathise with your feelings of being alone. I hope you have good friends and family to support you through.
If you type "brain tumour" in the search forum space on the purple strip at the top of the page, hopefully you will find other threads from other members in a similar situation and can add a post to the recent discussions.
All of us with the C word can relate to the emotional feelings associated with this disease, so please keep posting and let us know how you are doing. All the best, I hope you will find the support you seek x
Ps .... just read your profile and wow you have been going through it! Am glad things have stabilised for you currently and let's hope they stay that way x. Love your hair by the way!
